As West you defend against South's contract of 4 Spades. When you lead the top clubs and see the Q & J fall, what can you lead next?

You know you will soon be on lead again as declarer will want to flush out your top spade. If partner has a moderately high trump you might be able to promote your nine of spades. And so you lead your club 10, which is ruffed by declarer. Play the ace when South plays a trump honour, and lead another club. Partner does indeed have the ten which is enough to force out another honour spade, and now there is nothing South can do to avoid you making the nine of spades for one off.
